Who can participate in trips facilitated by Unscripted Travels?

Trips with Unscripted Travels are curated for individuals who identify as a helping professional, specifically those who support others in regards to mental health and wellness. However, we welcome those who are interested in learning how mental health connects to all areas of life around the world.


Is there a specific demographic group that travels with Unscripted Travels ?

Participants of all backgrounds, regardless of race, religion, gender, or socioeconomic status, are encouraged to register for our adventures. Though, participants must be at least 18+ years of age to register, or 16+ if accompanied by a parent and/or guardian.


Can I book a trip if I have not yet applied for my passport?

Yes, you may book a trip if you have not yet applied, but are planning to apply for your passport prior to departure. A passport is required to participate in any international trip curated by Unscripted Travels. Passports must be obtained at least 3 months prior to departure to ensure adequate time to book additional accommodations.


Can I arrive early or stay later that the designated time frame?

Yes, you are able to start your journey early or extend your trip, at your own expense. Your registration will only cover accommodations for the dates indicated for the group experience.


I am traveling solo, can I share a room with another traveler?

Yes! Whether you are booking with another participant and want to share accommodations, or you want to be paired at random to feel more connected in the group as a solo traveler, room sharing is an option. Please keep in mind that room matching is not always guaranteed.


What happens if my roommate cancels?

If your roommate cancels, we will do our best to pair you with another solo traveler. If we are unable to make another pairing for you, your registration will be transferred to a Single Room option, at the additional cost of $200.
