Planning for travel can be quite the task. Let us do the heavy lifting. When you register, we will take care of booking your accommodations, ground transportation and so much more. Just book your flight, pack your bags, and we’ll do the rest!

Accommodations

Hotel or Comparable Lodging

Our accommodations will include a comfortable combination of hotels and/or Airbnbs. While most of the accommodations will allow for single room bookings, there will be portions of the trip where room sharing will be required.

Entrance fees

Group Excursions

We have handcrafted optimal ways for participants to soak in various aspects of Iberian & Moorish culture. Entrance fees for all of the activities we have planned as a group will be covered. During any free time, however, you may decide to engage in additional excursions on your own (or with a partner). This will be at your own expense.

Transportation

Ground Transfers

Once we arrive in our destination country, our time together will include guided tours and group outings, as indicated in the itinerary. We will have safe and reliable transportation secured to transport us from place to place. If participants plan for additional excursions outside of the group, they will be responsible for obtaining their own transportation. 

Airfare

Roundtrip International Airfare

Participants will be responsible for booking personal accommodations from the United States (or other country of origin) to arrive in Lisbon Portugal (Airport Code: LIS) by the arrival date.

Application Fees

Visa & Passports

As a U.S. citizen, you will not need a Visa for entry to Portugal or Spain.

However, you will need a valid passport to travel (expiring at least 6 months after the date of return, with at least two (2) blank pages). If you need to purchase or renew your passport, visit here , or grab your application here.

Food & Beverage

Breakfast will be included at our accommodations each morning. While we will coordinate restaurant options for additional meal times, you will be responsible for purchasing your lunch, dinner, and any snacks you might enjoy during the trip.

Medical

Vaccines & Medications

There are no specific vaccinations required to travel to Portugal or Spain, but ensuring you are up-to-date on routine vaccinations is highly recommended. Consider talking to your doctor beforehand to discuss your individual needs. Check out this additional resource, as needed: Passport Health.

Insurance

Trip & Medical Coverage

While we don’t anticipate any challenges during our time together, we want you to be covered just in case. Whether it’s a baggage delay or a medical emergency, make sure you secure travel insurance to be protected. We recommend World Nomads, but you can select any plan you prefer.
