Theme: Food & Connection
A focus on broadening our palate, as we broadened our worldview. With a story almost always connected to food, it is in the sharing of those stories that connect us. We spent time with locals, and other travelers, learning what makes us similar to one another, while appreciating what makes us different, while enjoying traditional cuisines and drinking mint tea.

From the Marrakech tours to the Sahara Desert, Unscripted Travels ensured we had an enjoyable and culturally immersive experience. Marrakech is filled with so much culture, each day was a new, unforgettable adventure. Some of the highlights for me were trying authentic food from Morocco, touring the Jardin Majorelle, the Hammam experience at the Royal Mansour, and being able to say I toured the Sahara Desert on Camel back. I am thankful Unscripted Travels took the time to make sure we would had a once in a lifetime experience. As a Mental Health Therapist, understanding and learning more about the complexities of various cultures is necessary for my lifelong learning of the lives of diverse people/cultures. I am looking forward to my next adventure with Unscripted Travels!

“In December 2019, we hosted Unscripted Travels, the best group we have had. They were easy to work with and were open minded and embraced the Ghanaian culture and her people. Apart from seeing all the tourist places in Ghana, the group also spent quality time at an orphanage where they donated school materials and clothes to the children. The love and care they showed toward the children was deeply appreciated. Having them was the highlight of the year for us and we will be looking forward to having a group from them again.”
